| Eligibility | Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar field. Bachelor's degree holders need 5+ years of relevant experience; diploma holders need 7+ years. Knowledge of refinery and petrochemical industry electrical work, IEC standards, ATEX area classification and Ex equipment, high-voltage switchgear, UPS/battery chargers, motors, variable speed drives, soft starters, transformers, process heaters and power generation and distribution systems. Experience in equipment failure analysis and developing mitigation plans, and in electrical maintenance installation, troubleshooting and start-up. Excellent written, read and spoken English is required; Arabic is desirable. |
